Our Mission
Driven by the gospel
We seek to be driven by the powerful gospel of God’s grace to us in Jesus found in the bible, the word of God.
We will do this by:
- Constantly preaching and reading the word of God in our worship services.
- Studying the word of God and its implications in our growth groups.
- Helping each other to grasp the gospel through one-to-one relationships.
- Encouraging personal daily reading and reflection on the gospel.
Loving community
We seek to grow together as a welcoming community of disciples of Christ who have been loved and transformed by Jesus.
We will do this by:
- Purposely encouraging and training each other in Christ’s service.
- Regularly looking out for each other’s needs and praying for one another.
- Generously using our gifts, time and money to bless others.
- Seeking to love others graciously as we have been loved by Christ.
Intentional disciple makers
We seek to prayerfully share Jesus’ message of the gospel with all those who so desperately need him, beginning with our city of Melton and going to the ends of the earth.
We will do this by:
- Boldly and prayerfully sharing the gospel with those who do not yet know Jesus.
- Persistently communicating the gospel in love to people of all ages and cultures.
- Promoting and proclaiming the gospel to the very ends of the earth.
- Growing as Spirit empowered disciples who are outward focussed and courageous.
Transformed disciples of Christ
We seek to love and trust in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and worship him as he deserves by being transformed into his likeness and living for his glory alone.
We will do this by:
- Having our hope, joy, peace and trust always in Jesus Christ alone.
- Actively putting sin to death and prayerfully seeking to live holy lives.
- Striving to be living sacrifices who are constantly being transformed by Jesus.
- Seeking the glory of God alone in all that we think, say and do.
